My hometown is in Laizhou, a small county with a history of handicraft weaving that spans over 1,500 years. Here, the majority of women are highly skilled in the art of handicraft weaving.

Laizhou is the primary origin of Chinese handicraft bags. With more than 300 craft factories and thousands of rural craftsmen, they contribute 80% of China’s export market share for handicraft bags annually. The main export destinations include the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey, among other countries.

I am passionate about my hometown and wish to contribute to finding more and better job opportunities for the traditional craftsmen of my hometown.
