Return & Exchange Policy
At Aunty Woven, we take immense pride in the careful craftsmanship of our handwoven pieces. Each product is made with care and attention to detail. We want you to be delighted with your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied, we offer a simple return or exchange process for eligible items.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Return Window: You may return most items within 14 days of the delivery date.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in their original condition, and include all original packaging, dust bags (if applicable), and tags. Because our pieces are handcrafted, we require them to be returned in their original state for resale.
2. The Return Process
To ensure a smooth return, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Us
- Email our customer care team at support@auntywoven.com within the 14-day return period.
- Include your order number, product name, and reason for return.
- We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions. Returns without an RMA may not be accepted.
Step 2: Ship Your Return
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
- Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.
- Ship it to the address provided. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable and insured service.
3. Refunds
- Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Banks or payment providers may take additional time to post the refund.
- Refund Amount: Refunds cover only the cost of the product. Original shipping fees are non-refundable, and return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.
- Promotional Impact: If a return affects eligibility for free shipping or discounts, the promotional value may be deducted from your refund.
4. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
- Used items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
- Items marked as “Final Sale” are not eligible for return or exchange.
5. Items Not in Original Condition
If an item is returned damaged or missing parts, we may offer a partial refund or reject the return. We will notify you if this applies.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Items
In the rare event that you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid return label.
7. Exchange Policy
All our products are handcrafted with care. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
We accept exchanges for unused items in their original packaging. Slight variations in color or texture are normal for handmade products and not considered defects.
To request an exchange, email us at support@auntywoven.com with your order number and photos if applicable.
8. International Returns
For international orders, please contact us for the correct return address. Customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and shipping costs. We recommend marking the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid extra charges.
